With most people leading super full lives, balance is something that's nothing more than a nice idea to lots of us.
In this video, I share how you CAN achieve balance, but maybe not in the way you might be thinking about it now.

What I'm getting at is that we can feel however we want to feel - oh how often we forget that we have the power to choose! Instead of trying to get your life scheduled in a balanced way, all you have to do is find one thing that makes you feel balanced, and make time for that.
For me, this means starting my day with movement and meditation, scheduling one evening a week for 'me-time'. I also try to get 8 hours sleep a night (but don't sweat it if I don't quite get there one or 2 nights a week). When I do this, I know I'll feel balanced even if I have heaps on work wise, lots happening in my social life, or extra demand from a course that I'm doing, for example.
Put this into action yourself:
1. Nut out what balance FEELS like to you - for me, when I feel present and connected, I feel balanced.
2. Schedule activities that make you feel those things into your week - early nights, a weekly phone call to your Gran, 15 minutes of yoga in the morning - whatever will create the feelings that feed into balance for you. Keep it simple and don't add more than 2 or 3 things otherwise you'll just stress yourself out and then you can definitely say 'see-ya' to balance!.
