Can't Get Enough: Tea, Cook Books, Body Love, Anusara and More ...
Want to know all about the latest obsessions of a wellness nerd? Look no further! Here's a few things making my life extra awesome at the moment:
Organic? Tick. Nourishing? Tick. Delicious? Tick. If you're a tea junkie like me, Pukka has you covered. There is a blend for everything from energising to better sleep to happy tummies. My faves? The Three Ginger blend my pick for first thing in the morning and in the evenings I wind down with a mug of Golden Chamomile or the Relax blend. And you can't beat the Licorice & Cinnamon for a deliciously sweet, (and sugar-free) dessert replacement. Here's the cheapest place to grab some for yourself.
Eat Drink Paleo Cook Book
The Tuscan Cabbage is to die for, the Dukkah Spiced Roasted Pumpkin deliciously comforting and the Ricotta Cheesecake with Grilled Peaches turned several paleo-skeptical family members into converts. And believe me when I tell you that those mouth-watering recipes are just the beginning. Do yourself a favour and grab a copy now.
This stuff is everywhere in Ubud (if you're visiting, look out for it in all the healthy cafés). It's like a zingy version of coconut water and choc full of probiotics for a happy tummy and glowing skin. Ask your local health food store if they have some and watch this space - I'll be having a crack at making my own when I'm back in Perth.
“Find Love in Your Own Skin” the free ebook from Vanessa Millar of LearnGrowHeal.com
When I first downloaded this amazing free offering from Vanessa, I read it cover to cover. Body love is something so many of us ladies need to work on and Find Love in Your Own Skin shows you how. A must-read for any lass - grab your (free!) copy here.
After my first Anusara yoga class I cried because I was so...moved. And, trust me, that is not something I usually do. The gentle build to a peak pose, the soul-stirring theme of opening the heart to grace and the sweet teachings of Emily Kuser left me feeling more connected than any other yoga class. If you'd like to try Anusara for yourself, try and online class here, here, or here. If you're in Perth, you're in luck! The lovely Bernadette of Nourish Yoga is teaching free Anusara style classes at the moments, deets here.
Headspace Meditation App.
If you're new to meditating, Headspace is the app for you. Great graphics and a practical approach, it'll have you meditating daily in no time. Did I mention it's free?
I had my first article published on Mind Body Green a couple of weeks ago (insert happy dance here!). It's my 6 Tricks to Make Daily Meditation a No Brainer and I'd love you to check it out.
Love these tips? Good news! "Can't Get Enough" is going to be a regular feature every 3 weeks around these parts.
